Approximately 7 1/2 by about 5 1/2 complete 3-d Dealey Plaza with little 3" tall School Book Depository.  Has 3 underpasses under which the limo passed on way to hospital.    On bottom it says Edward R. Reed 1964 historical enterprises. inc. and address in Dallas, Texas.  One of the rarest items following the Assassination.  The creator was almost run out of town for creating this souvenir piece he intended to be in good taste to sell.  Mentioned in several JFK assassination books including Manchester's.  Very limited number were made & this is a rare variety with no fountain pen as in most.  $250    Buy Now

EXCEEDINGLY RARE JFK AUSTIN "TEXAS WELCOME DINNER" FOR THE 11-22-63 DINNER WHICH WAS TO HAVE BEEN HELD THE EVENING OF PRESIDENT JOHN F. KENNEDY'S ASSASSINATION
Beautifully framed INVITATION and ENVELOPE for the TEXAS WELCOME DINNER FOR PRESIDENT JOHN F. KENNEDY ON FRIDAY EVENING THE TWENTY SECOND OF NOVEMBER ONE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED AND SIXTY THREE at the MUNICIPAL AUDITORIUM in the CITY of AUSTIN. The envelope was post marked Nov. 6, 1963 in Austin,Texas. The invitee typed on the envelope "Invitation to the Dinner Honoring President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963. Kennedy was assasinated in Dallas at noon this day before he was to arrive in Austin.  "The frame is 11 inches wide x 20 inches high.  On the back of the frame the previous owner glued a Texas Welcome Dinner application where the tickets sold for ten dollars to see the President.  Near mint condition and guaranteed original.

This handbill was prepared the day that McKinley was shot at the Pan American(Buffalo) Exposition.  It was so soon after the shooting that they thought he had been killed outright.   Not the case as he lived for several days.
