President & Mrs. George W. Bush at the Inaugural Ball - Texas/Wyoming - Washington Convention Center
The most sought-after ticket Saturday night was the ticket to the Inaugural Ball at the Washington Convention Center where invited guests from home-states Texas and Wyoming attended. Here are photos snapped by Ron Wade of a very happy President and First Lady nine hours after he became the 43rd President of the United States.

Bottom left: President George W. Bush's limousine passes during the Inaugural Parade. The Wades attended a parade-watching party on the 2nd floor of the historic Hotel Washington. A fellow-member of the group of friends who campaigned for President Bush all over the nation, Barry Williamson, threw this party and rented the entire second floor from which guests watched the parade pass directly below rather than have to sit out in the cold rain.
