Even Rarer 1945 Congressional Inaugural Invitation for President Franklin D. Roosevelt and Vice President Harry S. Truman including engraved photos of FDR and Garner.   This is only the second I've ever had of the 1945 invitation. Has traces of previous mounting where they used stamp collecting mounts on corners which doesn't show through to front at all.  The fourth inauguration was conducted without fanfare. Because of the expense and impropriety of festivity during the height of war, the oath of office was taken on the South Portico of the White House.
